Polk Co MO 24 Jan 1852. Both were living with aunt, Jemima WILLIAMS EDWARDS as shown in census 1860 Polk Co MO; brother, Robert Samuel WILLIAMS who was in Arkansas after the Civil War, and a younger sister, Margaret Judeth Amy WILLIAMS who m. 1st, James Polk REDMAN, 8 Aug 1874, m.2nd, John H. Roach, 19 Feb 1885, both in Polk Co, Margart J. ROACH died 3 May 1932 and is buried in Enon Cemetery, Polk Co MO. I have data on descendants of Robert and Margaret and will share.

My grandmother's family arrived sometime during the Civil War from Arkansas. Her maiden name was Della Clair TYGART, daughter of Thomas Henry TYGART. Thomas was born in 1858 in Gentry, Benton, Arkansas and died in the 1920's in Aldrich, Polk, Missouri. Am interested in knowing about what year that they arrived.

UPTON, David and George, twins, born 26 April, 1849 in Polk County. Sister: Sarah (known as Sadie) Do not know where or when born, but know that she was younger. Parents: John L. Upton, born in Putnan Co. MO., father Seraphia (maiden name not known), mother. David Upton is my great-grandfather. Both he and his twin migrated to Pacific County, Washington Territory and both married sisters from the SMALLEY family. There were no family stories telling why they came West and little is know of their backgrounds. Any information would be appreciated.

I would appreciate any information on a Joseph H. WALKER family. They lived in Pleasant Hope. He was a farmer and was born about 1827 in TN. His wife's name was Sarah and she was born in TN about 1829. They had at least 6 children, all born in MO. James R. born about 1858, Margaret A. about 1861, Sarah L. born about 1863, Mary E. born about 1865, Laura (blind) born about 1867 and Paralee born about 1870. I am currently researching the HUDSON family - Atha Gregory Hudson and Catherine Landers Hudson lived in Humansville, Polk County, MO. Atha Hudson lived there for 78 years and is buried there. I believe Catherine may be buried there as well. Atha Gregory Hudson b. September 25, 1813 in Fairfax County, VA; d. 1913 in Humansville, MO; m. Catherine Ann Elizabeth Shipp LANDERS in 1835 in Sedalia, MO. My great grandmother, their daughter, was Ophelia Kate Hudson, b. March 12, 1863 in Sedalia, MO. Ophelia Kate Hudson m. Cicero Berlin Warner. Two other daughters (Ophelia's sisters) names were Molly Hudson and Minnie Hudson. Could anyone please provide information on this family such as names of all the children, parents of Atha and Catherine, place of burial and exact dates. I am willing to share all the information that I have on this family.

MANIES, MANIAS, MANES, unsure of correct spelling of last name. Looking for Mack Causer MANIES he was born 6/12/1819 in Sevier Co. Tennessee. He died on 2/23/1899 in Polk, County Missouri. He married twice first to Cyntha L. ROBERTS in 1853 (probably in Tennessee) ROBERTS died 8/1889. Mack and Cyntha moved to Polk County in 1873. Mack married Martha A. BIGGS on 4/19/1892. The only children I have listed are Laruel "Florence" she had a twin, and James. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

My fathers mother died in childbirth and her family raised him, his father moved on he was around some but, we know nothing much about his family. I have been to KC and found that his grandfather came from Polk Co MO and is buried at the Pleasant Hope Cemetary. I would like any info I can get on them. The names are William T. FAUSETT wife Sara M. His father also buried there is William N. Fausett wife Hannah L. COWDEN. They moved to Kansas around 1900 and moved back to MO around 1910 the best I can tell. I hope I can find some Information. also the name has been spelled with both a S and a C. I am really new to this so HELP!!

Both Noah and his brother Elijah and most of their children settled in the area around Bolivar and Half Way, and are buried in Gorden Cemetery near Apple Creek.
