GOODMAN/CHUMBLEY I am looking for information on the following people that show up on Census records for Polk County, MO:GOODMAN-It looks like they showed up in MO between 1840 and 1844 Mary GOODMAN would have been born in MO 1843-1845(where?). Her parents were Simpson and Sarah GOODMAN (from TN?). They show up as a family in the Polk County Census 1850 and 1860. Mary GOODMAN married Samuel C. CHUMBLEY on Febuary 2, 1863 in Greene County. They had America Lutisha CHUMBLEY on May 3, 1865 in Osceola, MO. Then Mary, Samuel, and America CHUMBLEY show up as a family group in the 1870 Polk County Census. They show up in the Lawrence County Census in 1880. I have more information from there, but the Census, marriage, and birth information I have not gotten supporting information on yet. Does anyone know how to get the supporting information for these people and why did they travel so much?
