She had children from a prior marriage. William Marion Harlin, Sarah E. (Harlin) who married William B. Harvey and Mary E. (Harlin) who married a Harty. William C. Harty, Jr. also ties to these. William & Sarah Harvey had a daugher Nancy Belle Harvey. In 1860 Mary (Harlin) Harty [family 1539-1458] is the head on the household with her brother, Wm Marion and step sister Frances Jane living with her. There is also an Issac Harlin age 8 living in household. Frankie Jane is 9 so Issac can't be a brother. Found a death certifiace for Issac Harlan born 1845 in IL. He is the son of Isaac Harlan born in KY. Mary Harty was also born in IL. No mane listed for the mother of Issac. Must be some connection.
I have found the name spelled Harlin-Harlan-Harlen!
