1890 Special Census for Ste. Genevieve County, Missouri |

|
Surnames A through J or Surnames K through Z
The 1890 Special Census was to enumerate the Union veterans (or their widows) of the Civil War. In some cases Confederate veterans were recorded as well.
Below are the names I have transcribed from the census records. Reading the handwriting on a photocopy from microfilm is quite an adventure, so I'd appreciate your input if you see a name you KNOW I have gotten wrong. They are in alphabetical order, as best I could manage. When the widow's name was listed, I put it in parenthesis.
There are no dates or ages for the men listed, so be aware that although the name might be correct, you'll have to figure out if it's actually the person you're looking for.
Any information I added is in [brackets].
