The Liberty Cemetery of South Callaway was formerly associated with a Methodist Episcopal Church of the same name which, at one time, stood at this site. The church has since been decommissioned and removed from the site leaving only the cemetery. This cemetery is protected, maintained, and preserved by the Liberty Cemetery of South Callaway Association, Board Chairperson, Sheila Burre Guthrie. A map of the burial plots taken August 28, 2001, was made available to Kingdom of Callaway Historical Society and is on file there. An accurate listing of this cemetery has not been taken since the early 1930's and is not available to this website at this time.

cemetery, a list from the old Liberty M.E. Church and one burial
is from an article found in a 1941 newspaper clipping. I want to
