| Text | J. A. Vanzandt departed this life Thursday morning, April 24, 1913 at his home in Ash Township. He was born at the same place in 1864 and lived all his live [life] on the old home farm. He was one of the wealthiest farmers in Ash Township and was a successful farmer and stock grower. He was united in marriage to Frances Weathers about 20 years ago. To this union were born 8 children. He leaves a wife and 6 children and other relatives and friends to mourn his death. He was buried at the Hickman Cemetery near Washburn, Friday, April 25th. |
