| Text | Miss Jennie Sons, daughter of James Sons living 3 miles northeast of Seligman, while sitting in a chair talking to her relatives fell dead on the 13th, of heart failure, age 42 years. The remains were laid to rest Saturday in the New Salem Cemetery. She was a sister of ex-Collector H. P. Sons of this city, who attended the funeral. She was a member of the Baptist Church. She was a good citizen and her many relatives and friends will mourn her death. Research Note: Tombstone reads Jannie Sons, Oct. 23, 1863 - Oct. 13, 1905 - news item reads Jennie Sons. |
