| Text | Charles B. Long, 71, of RR 1, Jenkins, died at 10:30 Monday in the state sanatorium in Mt. Vernon where he had been a patient one month.
A farmer, he is survived by his wife, Kathryn, a daughter, Betty Bartel, eight sons; Gary, Errol, David, Harold, John, Lloyd, Georrge and Jim; a sister Ruby Berg; two brothers Edgar and David; and 25 grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday in Culver Chapel with the Rev. Charles VanZandt officiating. Burial will be in Maplewood Cemtery at Exeter. |
