| Text | Washington Hayes of Pasley neighborhood, died, Thursday at 1 p.m. He was kicked by a horse some weeks ago, and his thigh broken, which caused his death. He was about 80 years old and leaves a wife and three daughters, Mrs. Geo. Ownings, Mrs. Elam Davis and Mrs. Chas Sills of this county. The remains were laid to rest yesterday in the Huff Cemetery. He was a good citizen and will be greatly missed in that community. |
