| Text | An old settler in the person of Aunt Rachel Hawk passed away Monday, aged about seventy-seven years. She had resided near Cassville since before the war. Her remains were interred in the Cassville Cemetery Tuesday, after service by Rev. J. W. Ennes. Research Note: Wife of John George Hawk. January 4, 1908, Saturday, Cassville Democrat Jasper Hawk of Neosho visited relatives and friends in and around Cassville, last week. He was a son of the late Mrs. Rachel Hawk. |
