| Text | Gladsy Cleo Roy Dickens, 67, Exeter Route 1, died at 2 a.m. Thursday at Hillcrest Hospital, Tulsa, Okla., after suffering a long illness.
Mr. Dickens was born May 11, 1914 in McDonald County. He was a lifetime resident of Exeter. He was a member of the Ridgley Church of Christ, and a farmer. He married Geneva Bertalotto Oct. 1, 1932, at Pineville. She survives. Also surviving are his mother, Maymie Ridenour, Stella; a son; four daughters; two sisters, Zelma Bertalotto, Neosho, and Geraldine Ply, Everton, Ark., 16 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Services were at 2 p.m. Saturday at the McQueen Chapel, Wheaton. The Rev. Cleo Blue officiated. Burial was in Rocky Comfort Cemetery. |
