| Text | Wasburn News: Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Berryhill lost their babe last Sunday from whooping cough. It was buried in the Sulherd Cemetery. Research Note: This cemetery was called Old Washburn Cemetery in more recent years. A rock quarry moved in near it and a lot of the graves were moved out. But this baby's grave and Clara Elizabeth (Hancock) Berryhill's graves are still there. There may be as many as 5 or 6 more left there too, but most are unmarked. |
