Lottie Geraldine Combs was born Jan. 15, 1933 in California, one of thirteen children born to Leonard and Nellie [Dunermouth] Hackney. She passed away November 6, 2008 at Kansas City Hospice House, Kansas City.

She was united in marriage to Boyd Cunningham and to this union five children were born. Boyd preceded her in death after 26 years of marriage. Later she married Melvin D. Combs. They were married for 27 wonderful years.

Lottie was, also, preceded in death by her son, Russell D. Cunningham and one grandson, James Ryan Clegg.

Lottie is survived by her loving husband, Melvin, of the home; sons William Cunningham, Osceola, Stephen Cunningham and wife, Paula, Belton, Ricky and wife Theresa, Belton,; daughter Rebecca Clegg and Shawn Scrivner, Osceola; 19 grandchildrene; 26 great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.

Services were Monday, Nov. 10 at 11 a.m. at Sheldon-Goodrich Chapel. The officiant was Stephanie Smith. Casketbearers were Corey Cunningham, Shane Cunningham, Jesse Cunningham, Shawn Scrivner, Clete Cunningham and Brandon Clegg. Honorary casketbearers were Jimmy Carson, Cody Cunningham, Dustin Cunningham and Shawn Clegg. Interment followed in the Hopewell Cemetery.
