Harold Lee Klopfenstine, 61, Osceola, died Monday, September 15, 2008 at his home. The son of Elmer Carl and Hazel Niona (Richie) Klopfenstine, he was born June 9, 1947 at Kansas City.
An asphalt paver, he was a former resident of Independence moving to Osceola 4 years ago.
Survivors include 3 children, Carl Klopfenstine, Osceola, Ronnie Klopfenstine, North Kansas City, Lynona Klopfenstine, state of Texas; 2 step- daughters, Cheryl Candillo and Christy Candillo, both of Independence; 1 sister, Jimie McGinley, Osceola; 4 brothers, Carl Klopfenstine, Kingston, Stanley Klopfenstine, Coca Beach, FL, Gil Klopfenstine and wife, Linda, Boonville, and Gary Klopfenstine and wife, Debbie, Independence; 7 greandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
No services are planned. Cremation is under the direction of Murray Funeral Home, Humansville.
