Christopher Scott Cameron was born Dec. 24, 1988 in El Dorado Springs to Bryan Scott Cameron and Kimberly Kay Swofford. He passed away Sept. 28, 2008 from injuries received in an automobile accident.
Chris attended Osceola Schools from kindergarten through high school, graduating in 2007. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He enjoyed spending time with his friends. Chris was a concrete finisher and enjoyed working with Robert Williams and his sons.
Chris was raised by his loving grandmother, Linda Swofford, who survives him. He is also survived by his mother, Kim Swofford, Madisonville, KY; father Bryan Cameron and wife Brenda, Archie; grandfather Bill Swofford and step-grandmother Becky Bowman, Madisonville, KY; brothers, Justin Swofford, Osceola, Scott Cameron, Kansas City; sisters, Kayla Vanover, Madisonville, KY, Tamera Cameron and Kelly Cameron, both of Archie; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and many, many friends.
Services were held Thursday, Oct. 2 at Sheldon-Goodrich Chapel officiated by Minister Greg Mangum.
Music selections included "Amazing Grace", "When I Get Where I'm Going" and "Photograph".
Casketbearers included Justin Swofford, Bradley Cameron, Cory Smith, Austin Weant, R.D. Williams, Steve Cameron.
Interment was held in Lowry City Cemetery.
Arrangements were made by Sheldon-Goodrich Funeral Home, Osceola.
