Beverly Dunning, 58, Independence, MO passed, September 10, 2008. Visitation from 6-8:00 p.m. on Sun., Sept. 14, at the Speaks Suburban Chapel. Service at 10:00 a.m. on Mon., at New Salem Baptist Church. Graveside at 2:30 p.m., Monday at Harmony Cemetery, St. Claire County, MO.

Beverly Dunning, 58, of Independence, MO went to be with her Lord, September 10, 2008 at Centerpoint Medical Center. A visitation will be held from 6-8:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 14, at the Speaks Suburban Chapel. The service will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, September 15, at New Salem Baptist Church in Independence, MO. Graveside services at 2:30 p.m. on Monday at Harmony Cemetery, St. Claire County, MO. Contributions may be made to (FORCE) Fort Osage Resource Champion Education, in memory of Beverly Dunning. Beverly was born December 25, 1949 in Kansas City, MO to Herbert and Rosemary (Lewellen) Dunning. To Beverly, education was a passion, having retired from the Fort Osage School District after 30 years of teaching. She was also a devoted christian who was a long time and faithful member of New Salem Baptist Church. Beverly was preceded in death by her mother, Rosemary A. Dunning. She is survived by her father, Herbert L. Dunning; brother, Bill Dunning and wife Linda; niece, Kristina A. Holland and husband Ryan; nephew, Zachary H. Dunning; and a host of loving relatives and friends.
