Funeral services were held at Goodrich Chapel, Friday April 23, at 2
P.M. for William Thomas Gardner of
Lowry City, who died Wednesday, April 21, following a heart attack.
His age at death was 51 years, two months and one day.
Rev. R.O. Scott officiated at the services and burial was in Lowry
City Cemetery, under the direction of
Goodrich Funeral Home.
Mr. Gardner was born on Feb. 20, 1914, at Wisdom, Mo., and lived in
the Lowry City vicinity all his life. At
the time of his heath, he was employed by the M.F.A. at Lowry City.
He is survived by his wife, Viola, and four children, one daughter,
Patty Sue, and one son, William Thomas
of the home; one married daughter, Anna Faye Malone, of Cecil, Penn.,
and one married son, Darrell, of
Eldorado Springs, Mo., also two grandchildren, of Cecil, Penn.
Other survivors are his parents, Mr & Mrs. Tom Gardner of Osceola; 2
brothers, Russell of Independence, Mo., and Orville of Harrisonville,
Mo., and six sisters: Gladys Hall, Calhoun, Mo., Mildred Brown,
Chilhowee, Mo., Josephine Nickell, Lowry City, Marie Brown, Louise
Goring & Grace Parks, all of Kansas City, Mo., also 10 nieces and 13
nephews.
