Loene Purvis  - December 16, 1923 - March 24, 2008 - Wilma Loene (Muchmore) Purvis of Grandview, Missouri was born December 16, 1923 in St. Clair County in Appleton City, Missouri. She was the daughter of Eldon R. Muchmore and Flossie A. (Ralph) Muchmore. On March 20, 1940 she married Oren Kenneth Purvis. To this union 6 children were born. Loene was preceded in death by her parents Eldon R and Flossie A. Muchmore, four sisters, two brothers and an infant daughter Susan Nyretta. She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Oren Kenneth Purvis, her children Kenneth Lamont and wife Lois, Larry and wife Vicki, Patti Young and husband Ron, Danny and wife Carol and Debbie Angell and husband Don, 11 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Loene’s devotion to her family was first and foremost. Her second enjoyment throughout her life was music which began as a young girl with her brother and continued with her own children. She was a member of the Belvidere Heights Baptist Church where she sang in the choir.

Interment: Appleton City Cemetery in Appleton City, Missouri.
Memorial: Kansas City Hospice.
