Stanley Walter Keeton, 50, of Prairie Village, Kan., passed away June 28 at his home. Services 11 a.m. Tues., July 3, at the Sheldon-Goodrich Chapel, Osceola, (417) 646-8135, with burial in Roscoe Cemetery under the direction of Sheldon-Goodrich Funeral Home. Visitation 10-11 a.m. on Tuesday at the chapel.

Stanley Walter Keeton, youngest son of Alfred and Wilma Jean Nitsche Keeton, was born Dec. 3, 1956, at St. Mary's Hospital in Kansas City and passed away June 27, 2007, at his home in Prairie Village, Kan.
Stan graduated from Shawnee Mission East High School in 1975. Shortly after high school he moved to Colorado where he lived a few years. He moved back to Prairie Village and worked as a car salesman and also sold real estate. Stanley moved to Phoenix, Ariz., and wokred as a car salesman for several years. He moved back home seven years ago and worked until his mother became ill. He then devoted his full time to taking care of her until her death in September 2006. Stan was a member of the Overland Park Lutheran Church.
Preceding him in death were all of his grandparents and his father and mother.
Suviviors include two brothers, Carl Eugene, Stillwell, Kan., and Craig, Spokane, Wash.; two uncles, Jimmy Keeton and Junior Nitsche; three aunts, Joy Lou Valear, Genevieve Keeton and Jewel Dean Shults; five nieces; three nephews and many cousins and friends. Stan will be greatly missed for his love and his kindness.

Funeral services were Tuesday, July 3, at the Sheldon-Goodrich Funeral Home, Osceola with burial in the Roscoe Cemetery under the direction of the Sheldon-Goodrich Funeral Home, Osceola.
