PAULINE (GOFF) JONES

Pauline Goff was born on a cold blustery day, December 4, 1909, at
Albany, Mo.
During 1916 the family moved to Brownington. Pauline was blessed with
many brothers and sisters. Pauline
was educated in Henry County. She was joined in marriage to Clarence
Jones on August 6, 1931 at
Warrensburg. They lived in Kansas City, Raytown and lastly their Lowry
City farm. Her loves in life were
husband, teaching, and her church. She was a member of Park Grove
Christian Church. She taught at Raytown and in Henry and St. Clair
counties. Her former students are scattered far and wide. Several have
remained in touch with her.
Preceding her in death were Floyd Goff of Boise City, Ok., Edna
Schlesinger of Eldorado, Ks., Ruby Hunt of Windsor, and Charles
Goff of Grandview.
She is survived by Ardyth Boucher and husband Jerry, and Barbara
Haverland and husband Irvin; 4 brothers,
Clifford Goff of Boise City, Ok., Gordon Goff of Springfield, Dale
Goff of Kansas City, Glen Goff of Perry, Ia.; two sisters, Ruth
Carroll of Marionville, Joyce Gilbert of Overland Park, Ks.; 4
grandchildren, Alan Haverland of Springfield, Laurie Stinnett and
husband Richard D. Stinnett of Lowry City, Jeremy Boucher of Kansas
City; other relatives and friends. She will be missed.
Funeral services were held Thursday, July 16, 1992 at Sheldon-Goodrich
Chapel, Osceola. Burial was in Park Grove Cemetery.
