Miles Eli Dunning was born Dec. 22, 1926 in Columbia, Mo. Miles was raised by Miles and Avis Dunning of Deepwater. He passed away Dec. 28, 1985 at his home in Deepwater at the age of 59 years and 6 days.
Mr. Dunning was a lifetime resident of Deepwater. He graduated from Montrose High School. He accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of the Deepwater Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife Nola of the home; one son, Larry Dunning of Deepwater; one daughter, Barbara Price of Deepwater; one step-daughter, Glenda Summers of Independence; 5 grandchildren, 3 step-grandchildren and two step-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were Monday, Dec. 30, at the Deepwater Baptist Church. Burial was in Landaker Cemetery in Lowry City, under the directions of Goodrich Funeral Home of Osceola.
