Madge Hill - Madge Hill, age 77, of 411 S. Main St., passed away Monday afternoon at Cedar County Memorial Hospital. She was born August 2, 1904, the daughter of Samuel Wayne and Bessie Ethridge Hill.
Miss Hill was a lifetime area resident coming to El Dorado Springs in 1953. She was a member of the Pape Christian Church.
Survivors include five sisters - Miss Velda Mae Hill and Mrs. Bessie Violet Sxhuman both of El Dorado Springs; Mrs. Opal Hanna Shouse, Rich Hill; Mrs. Ina Marie Hutton, Hot Springs, Ark.; Mrs. Lorena Davis, Caledonia, Ill.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 12 in the Milster-Isbell-Carothers Chapel with Rev. Jack Daniel officiating. Burial will be in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Schell City, under the direction of Milster-Isbell-Carothers Funeral Home.
The family will receive relatives and friends Thursday evening from 7 to 8:30 p.m. in the Milster Chapel.
