Loren C. "Buck" Pritchard, 75, Blue Springs, passed away Saturday,
Dec. 9, 2006, at the Kansas City Veterans Administration Hospital in
Kansas City. He was born July 22, 1931 in Osceola to Curtis F. and
Stella Mae Waggle Pritchard.
He spent four years in the U.S. Navy after growing up in Independence,
where he attended many grade schools and finished at William Chrisman
High School class of 1950. Returning from the Navy, he graduated from
William Jewel College four years later with a degree in Business
Administration. Most of his life career was spent in the field of real
estate. In 1957, he met his wife of nearly 49 years, Patti Pollock
Pritchard. They had two daughters, Lori LeAnn Weddle and her husband,
Brian, Grain Valley and Nicole Marie Edgington, Blue Springs; four
grandchildren, Jacob and Aaron Weddle and Josh and Lauren Edgington;
and a sister, Linda Leonard and her husband, Robert, Springfield. His
sister was Lucille Delaporte, Osceola and niece and nephew Mary and
Bud Delaporte, all deceased.
Funeral services were Friday, Dec. 15, 2006, at the Speaks Suburban
Chapel, Independence. Burial with full military honors was in Floral
Hills Memorial Gardens, Kansas City.

Loren Curtis "Buck" Pritchard, 75 of Blue Springs. MO passed away
Saturday, December 9, 2006 at the Kansas City VA Hospital. Services
will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, December 15, 2006 at the Speaks Suburban
Chapel. Burial with full military honors will be in Floral Hills
Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.,
Thursday evening at the chapel. In lieu of flowers donation may be
made to the American Heart Association. Buck was a loving husband of
one, devoted father of two and adoring grandfather of four. He was
born July 22, 1931 in Osceola, Mo to Curtis F. and Stella Mae (Waggle)
