Jean Francis was born Oct. 1, 1923, to George and Lillian Francis of Collins. She passed away July 10, 2006, at Council Bluff, Iowa, at age 82. She graduated from Collins High School in 1941. Jean was baptized and belonged to the Church of Christ in Rogers, Ark.
Jean is survived by a daughter, Yevette Brannon, Council Bluff, Iowa; sisters, Betty Martin, Humansville, Wilma Young, Rogers, Ark. and Marilyn Franklin and her husband Carl, Kimberling City; brothers, George Francis, Lee's Summit and Ralph Francis, Kansas City, Kan.; five grandchildren and 14 nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Joyce and an infant brother, Bobby Joe.
Jean was a loving mother and grandmother and will be missed by all her family.
