EVA JONES COCKRUM

Eva Jones Cockrum was born April 12, 1899 and died June 15, 1977 in Kansas City. She was the wife of Leroy Cockrum, and daughter of David E. Jones & Louisa Cooper. 
Eva attended school in St. Clair County, Missouri and graduated from Sedalia Business College. She left Missouri and went to Casper, Wyoming, while her parents homesteaded a ranch near Casper. While in Casper, she was a legal secretary and owner/ manager of a group of apartment houses.
Wanting to be near relatives, she and her husband moved back to the Park Grove area, then to Kansas City in 1974, where she remained until her death. Burial in Lowry City Cemetery, Lowry City, Missouri.
