Dora F. Baker Nance, Collins, passed away Tuesday, April 1, 2008 at Cox South Hospital in Springfield.
Dora was born March 29, 1924 in Osceola to David and Rosa McNelly Baker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert, her parents, David and Rosa, five brothers, Fred, Alva,
Paul, Delbert and Dale, three half-brothers, Everett, Floyd and Roscoe and two sisters, Opal Cooper and
Mildred Hopkins.
She is survived by her five sons and their wives, Ronnie and Judy, Kenneth and Carole, and Melvin and
Marilyn, all of Collins. Wayne and Sandy of Deepwater and Ray and Jeannie of Collins; twelve grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren; three sisters, Ethel Mathiesen of Humansville, Viola McCoy of Weaubleau and Virginia and Bob Miller of Holden.
Services were held Saturday, April 5, at the Sheldon Chapel with Rev. Leo Keller officiating. Soloist Gale
Ingle sang "In The Garden" and "Precious Memories".  Casketbearers were: Mike Nance, Steve Nance, Jerry Nance, Travis Nance, Jarney Nance, Rick Nance, Aaron Nance and Steven Richards. Interment was in Robinson Cemetery.
