Donald E. Cochran, 59, of "Pa and Shorty's Animal Farm", Richmond, passed away Tuesday Dec. 11 at his
home. Donald was born on Sept. 12, 1948 in Orrick, the son of James Curtis and Bessie Elizabeth (Covey)
Cochran.
He served in the U.S. Army during Vietnam. He worked as an over the road truck driver for several years.
He and his wife, Karen, were married May 24, 2002 in Richmond. He enjoyed his animal farm, camping,
fishing and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, especially puling them around in the pasture.
Survivors include his wife, Karen, of the home; two daughters, Tracy Jones and her husband, Robbie,
Osceola and Donna Clark and her husband, Chuck, Excelsior Springs; one stepso, Buddy Johnson, Kansas
City; sister Judy Woods and her husband, Bob, Henrietta, Mo; brother, Tim Coleman, Richmond; sisters
Penny Winfrey and her husband, Stanley, Osceola and Debbie Walker, Oklahoma City, Okla; six grandchildren, Ashley Clark, Jeff Cochran, Tabitha Jones, Robbie Jones, Abby Johnson and Ashley Johnson and one great granddaughter, Joslyn Jerome.
Funeral services were Dec. 15 at Polley Funeral Home, Richmond and burial at Bear Creek Cemetery, Osceola.
