Dale Eugene Hodgett, 68, passed away June 19, 2006 at Golden Valley Hospital in Clinton. Graveside services were Thursday, June 22 at the Green Lawn Cemetery.
Dale was born April 11, 1938, in Kansas City. He worked in construction most of his life, and also worked in the oil fields of Oklahoma. He was a handyman who could repair anything.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Thelma Hodgett; son, Dale Eugene Hodgett, Jr.; and a sister, Mary Ann Hodgett.
His survivors include his loving companion, Nancy Hodgett, Osceola; three daughters and their husbands, Debra and Joe Sumner, McCurtain, Okla., Sharon and Bob Lucas, Lamar and Raylena and Johnny Anderson, Fort Gibson, Okla.; two stepsons, Larry and Terry Decavele both of Kansas City; brother, Michael Hodgett, Waynesville; four sisters, Jessie Dollard, Beverly Baker, Patty Payne and Carolyn Hodgett; seven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
