Mrs. Cora L. DeLong

Mrs. Cora L. DeLong died late Saturday night at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Alma Breshears, 1577 Moss street, following an illness of seven years.

Mrs. DeLong was born Nov. 20, 1868, in Scott, West Virginia. At the age of 17 she went to Missouri and was married in that state to Steve DeLong. Mr. DeLong died 10 years ago in California. Mrs. DeLong had lived in Oregon 35 years, most of the time at Cove, and the past seven years at Eugene. She was a member of the Rebekah lodge in Cove.

Surviving are the one daughter, Mrs. Alma Breshears; three grandchildren; four brothers, Lafe, John and Clarence Richard of Cove, and Walter Richard of LaGrande; one sister, Mrs. W. N. Neville, of Long Beach, Cal.

The body is being sent by Poole chapel to LaGrande. Services and burial will be held at Summerville.
