Bernice Lee Bieser was born Jan. 20, 1923, near Ohio, to Carl Joseph
and Alma Mae Frisby Bieser and passed away on Feb. 1, 2007 at Truman
Lake Manor in Lowry City.
Bernice was a graduate of Osceola High School and taught four years in
public schools before attending business school in Iola, Kan. She was
subsequently employed in clerical work for 25 years with Phillips
Petroleum Company, first in Kansas City, then in Bartlesville, Okla.,
where she retired in 1988. She was a member of Kidd's Chapel Church.
Bernice was preceded in death by her parents, Carl Joseph and Alma Mae
Bieser and one sister, Evelyn Pervis.
She is survived by one sister, Neva Bieser of Lowry City; three
nieces, Jane Campbell and her husband, Rick of St. Joseph; Nancy
Bowles and her husband, Larry of Miller and Marsha Still and her
husband, Larry of Carthage; great-nieces and great-nephews, Rick
Campbell and his wife, Trisha; Rebecca Bowles, Philip Bowles and his
wife, Christina; Barry Still and Carrie Still and one great-great
niece, Seanna Campbell.
Services were Sunday, Feb. 3 at Sheldon-Goodrich Chapel. Officated by
pastor Sam Masten.
Music selection was "What A Friend" and "In The Garden" by Irene
Hartley, pianist.
Casketbearers were Howard Peterson, Larry Bowles, James Grove, Arthur
Gordon, Rick Campbell and Larry Still.
Interment was in Kidd's Chapel Cemetery. Arrangements were done by
Sheldon-Goodrich Funeral Home in Osceola.
