Beatrice Powell, 87, of Springfield, formerly of Collins, passed away July 10, 2006 at the Springfield Rehabilitation Center.
Beatrice is survived by one son, Warren Powell and one daughter, Pat Stevenson, both of Springfield, two grandchildren, three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were Thursday, July 13 at the Robinson cemetery, Weaubleau. Arrangements were made by Sheldon-Goodrich Funeral Home, Osceola.

Beatrice Powell was born on July 22, 1918 in Commerce, Okla. to Orland Ted and Daisy Smith Ellis and passed away July 10, 2006 at the Springfield Rehabilitation Center in Springfield.
Beatrice married Warren Powell in January 1956. She was a long-time beautician and later worked s a real estate sales person. Beatrice was a past Worthy Matron of the Eastern Star Chapter in Lowry City and served two terms as mayor of Collins.
Beatrice was preceded in death by her parents, Orland and Daisy Ellis, one brother, Wilson Ellis and one sister, Wilma Walker.
Beatrice is survived by one son, Warren Powell and one daughter, Pat Stevenson, both of Springfield, two grandchildren, three great grandchildren, a niece and nephews and a long time friend, Flora Kennon, Collins.
Graveside services were July 13 at Robinson cemetery officiated by Allen Kauffman.
Interment was in Robinson cemetery. Arrangements were made by Sheldon-Goodrich Funeral Home, Osceola.
