WOLFORD L. TURNER

Wolford L. Turner, 93, formerly of Kansas City, peacefully went to be
with the Lord on Tuesday, Oct. 16, 2007, in San Antonio, Texas.
Wolford was born on June 9, 1914, in Branch, Ark., to Thomas and
Caledonia Turner.
Wolford was honorably discharged after serving in the Coast Guard
during World War II. He was a life time employee of General Motors.
Wolford was preceded in death by his wife, Gladys Kathryn Turner and
his grandson, Steve.
He is survived by his daughters, Darlene Underwood, Jane Accuros and
her husband, Tony, Kathy Glow and her husband, Tom; grandchildren,
Michael, Vickie, Pam, Dennis, Kenneth, Teresa, Darryl, David, Shelly,
Giavanna, Matthia, Anthony, Augustine, Isabel, Ashley and Justin;
numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Services were Sunday, Oct. 21, at the Sheldon-Goodrich Chapel with
Reverend Fred Stevens officiating.
Casketbearers were Gary Myers, Matthia Accurso, Randy Sheldon, Anthony
Accurso, Scott Glow, Justin Glow and Rick Jarrett.
Interment was in the Osceola Cemetery under the direction of
Sheldon-Goodrich Funeral Home, Osceola.

Wolford L. Turner, age 93, formerly of Kansas City, peacefully went to

was bon on June 9, 1914 in Branch, Arkansas, to Thomas & Caledonia
Turner. Wolford was honorably discharged after serving in the Coast
Guard during WWII. He was a longtime employee of General Motors. He is
preceded in death by his wife, Gladys Kathryn Turner and his grandson,
Steve. Survivors include his daughters, Darlene Underwood, Jane
Accurso & husband, Tony, Kathy Glow & husband, Tom; grandchildren,
Michael, Vickie, Pam, Dennis, Kenneth, Teresa, Darryl, David, Shelly,
Giavanna, Mattia, Anthony, Augustine, Isabel, Ashley and Justin; and
numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Services
will be held 2 p.m. October 21, 2007 at Sheldon-Goodrich Funeral Home
