WILLIAM A. FRANKENFIELD

William A. "Corky" Frankenfield, 62, Roscoe, died Wednesday morning,
April 13 at the Sac-Osage Hospital in Osceola. Funeral services will
be Friday, April 15, at 1 p.m. at the Sheldon Goodrich Chapel in
Osceola. Burial will be in the Roscoe Cemetery.
Mr. Frankenfield was born in Pittsburg, Ks. He moved with his family
to the Roscoe area in 1939. He had lived in the Kansas City area 35
years before returning to Roscoe in 1989. He was an Air Force veteran
of the Korean Conflict. He was an employee of the Armour Company 17
years and a 26-year employee of Ford Motor Company.
He is survived by his wife, Lamoyne of the home; three sons, Barthol
L. Frankenfield of Topeka, Ks., Robert L. Frankenfield and
daughter-in-law, Cindy, of Kansas City, and David Strugeon of Trimble;
one daughter, Cindy Youngblood of Berryville, Ark.; one sister-in-law,
Mrs. Alvina Frankenfield of Glendale, Arizona; six grandchildren, 11
nieces and nephews, 23 great-nieces and nephews, 11 great-great-nieces
and nephews.
