Leona Bell Lollar was bonr Jan. 12, 1927 in Kansas City, to Ernest and Lula Snow Strohmeyer. She passed away Oct. 18, 2007, at Golden Valley Memroial Hospital in Clinton.
Leona's early life was spent in the Kansas City area. She graduated from Central High School. In 1943 she was united in marriage to Russell A. Lollar in Olathe, Kan. To this union three sons were born.
Leona raised her three sons, foster son and was a Cub Scout Den Mother. She was a loving and caring wife and mother. Leona recently reconfirmed her faith at the Kidd's Chapel Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell, on Jan. 21, 1999; two sons, Thomas Arthur Lollar in 1970 and Russell Leon Lollar in 1972; two brothers, Ernest Strohmeyer and Johnny Strohmeyer.
Leona is survived by her son, Dan R. Lollar, Osceola; foster son, Jim Smith, Kansas City; one brother, Steven Strohmeyer, Peculiar; two grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
Service were held Saturday, Oct. 20 at the Sheldon-Goodrich Chapel with Larry Wheeler.
Musical selections were "Holes In The Floor Of Heaven" and "Amazing Grace".
Interment was in the Benton Green Cemetery under the direction of Sheldon-Goodrich Funeral Home, Osceola.

Leona B. Lollar, 80, of Osceola, Mo., formerly of Kansas City, Mo., passed away Oct. 18, 2007. Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Sat., Oct. 20 at Sheldon- Goodrich Chapel, Osceola. Burial in Benton Green Cemetery near Roscoe, Mo. The family will receive friends from 2-3 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
