Kathryn Yates, 76, was born June 10, 1931 in Hatten, MO to John Nelson
and Nettie Mable Davis and passed away Dec. 11, 2007 at Clinton Rehab
Center, Clinton.
Besides her husband, Bill Yates, she was preceded in death by her
parents, John and Mable Davis, seven
brothers, Clarence, Claude, Marvin, Leonard, Stanley, Mansil and
Charles Davis; five sisters, Grace Cross,
Nettie Herron, Nadine Wilson, Amy Hursh, Gladys Jones and many nieces
and nephews
Kathryn is survived by three daughters; Sharon and John Cawood, Lowry
City, Joyce Murphy, Archie and
Janice and Ed Massey, Warsaw; 10 grandchildren, Shelly, Sheldon and
Jason Greer, Jenny Ashley, Jody
Hobbs, Karie Limdell, Tamra Pinson, Clint and Bernita Tillotson and
Denise Brewster; six great
granddaughters, Grace Greer, Krystle Caylor, Nicole King, Ally Pinson,
Nikki Brewster and Desirae Bell;
eight great grandsons, Anthony Greer, Colby Apolinar, Cody Lyndell,
Dakota Derek and Dalton Tillotson,
Dillon Bell and Jared Brewster; one great great grandson, Matthew and
one great great granddaughter,
Kadence.
Services for Kathryn were Saturday, Dec. 15, 2007 at the
Sheldon-Goodrich Chapel with Reverend Sheldon Greer.
Musical selections were "Amazing Grace", "God on the Mountain" with
Hazel Williams, soloist; "Farther
Along" with Pat Cooper, soloist and "I'll Fly Away", "Old Rugged
Cross" and "I Can Only Imagine".
Casketbearers were Robert Hursh, Bobby Davis, Larry Davis, John Davis,
Eddy Davis and Billy Herron.
Honorary casketbearers were Lowell Cooper, Darrell Heron, Rodney
Hursh, Jim Crocker, Donald Herron and Sherman Smith.
Interment was in the Pleasant Mound Cemetery under the direction of
Sheldon-Goodrich Funeral Home, Osceola.
