Freda Juanita Folsom, 84, Weaubleau, passed away Oct. 19, 2007, in Truman Lake Manor, Lowry City. She was born Sept. 28, 1923, at Kansas City, Kan., the daughter of Frederick and Juanita (Hovey) Chubb. She had worked at Ft. Scott Hospital as laundry supervisor and was a homemaker and moved to the Weaubleau area in 1984 from Kansas City, Kan.
Survivors include four sons, Almon Folsom, Osceola, George Folsom, Weaubleau, Jimmy Folsom, Neosho and Henry Folsom, Buffalo; four daughters, Yvonne (Bonnie) Higgins, Sandra Hernandez and Nancy Cox, all of Weaubleau, and Juanita Myers of Buffalo; two sisters, Mary Mitchell, Cameron and Velda Davis, Albuquerque, N.M.; 17 grandchildren, 39 great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
Services were Wednesday, Oct. 24, at Hathaway-Peterman Funeral home, Wheatland, with Reverend Ed Stovall officiating.
Graveside services were held in the Ft. Scott National Cemetery, Ft. Scott, Kan., under the direction of Hathaway-Peterman Funeral Home, Wheatland.

Freda J. Folsom, 84, Weaubleau, Mo., formerly of Kansas City, Kan., passed away October 19, 2007. Services 10 a.m. Wed., Oct. 24, at Hathaway-Peterman Funeral Home, Wheatland, Mo., with graveside services 2 p.m. at Ft. Scott National Cemetery, KCK. Visitation 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
