Everett Lee Baumgarden, 93, Bolivar, died Sunday, Jan. 6, 2008 in Parkview Healthcare facility, Bolivar. The son of Eli & Letha [Shryer] Baumgarden, he was born near Gerster, Jan. 13, 1914.
Everett & Sylvia Bryant were married Oct. 6, 1940.  She preceded him in death Feb. 18, 2006. His parents
and a sister, Goldia Spoor, also preceded him in death.
Everett was a farmer at Collins for many years. In 1961, the family moved from Collins to Bolivar where
he worked as a carpenter until his retirement.
Everett accepted Christ as a teenager and became a member of the Coon Creek Baptist Church at Collins.
Presently, he was a member of Southern Hills Baptist Church in Bolivar.
Surviving is his daughter, Sue B. McLaury, Raytown; one brother, William Baumgarden, Collins and several
nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2008 at
Murray funeral Home, Bolivar with Pastor Gary Urich officiating. Interment was in Robinson cemetery at Collins.
