Brad Wesley Higgins was born Sept. 1, 1978, twin son of James Higgins and Brenda Ann Ragan Higgins and the grandson of Eugene and Dorothy Higgins, Deepwater. He passed away from massive injuries sustained on Nov. 9, 2007, when he lost control of his pickup on Highway 13 within Clinton city limits.
After Brad graduated from high school he was employed by Northwest Airlines, later Frontier Airline. He then trained to become a gourmet chef and was presently employed by Fourwinds Resteraunt in the airport. He was to begin a managerial position with the Marriot chain next week.
We will miss our "Big Guy" tremendously, he loved to fish, hunt, cook and just hang out with the family.
Brad was preceded in death by his grandfather, Charles Ragan and infant brother, James Patrick.
He is survived by his parents; stepmother, Cathy; one stepsister and one stepbrother; twin, Brett Allen, brother, USAF Captain Brian E. Higgins and his wife, Jill, Val Dosta, Ga.; grandmother, Helen Ragan; uncle, Randy Ragan and his wife, Audrey, all of Kansas City; aunt, Janet Higgins Graham; uncles, Andy Higgins and Lance Higgins; great aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of good friends.
Services were held Nov. 14 at Mt.Washington Funeral Home, Kansas City.

Brad W. Higgins 28, passed away on November 10, 2007. Visitation will be Wednesday, November 14, 2007 from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Mt. Washington Forever Chapel, 614 S. Brookside , Independence, MO.
