ROSANNA NISLE

Mrs. George Nisle was born in Germany, November 20, 1845. Died at
the home of her daughter, Mrs. F. Henselmann, near Appleton City,
Mo., April 27, 1913. Her maiden name was Rosanna Mayer. She was married
to Geo. Nisle in 1866, at New California, Ohio. To this union seven
children were born, five of whom survive her, as follows: J.W. and
G.J. Nisle of Bessie, Okla., C.F. Nisle of Waterloo, Wis., Frank Nisle
and Mrs. Frank Henselmann of Appleton City, Mo. Her husband died about
five years ago and since that time Mrs. Nisle had made her home with
her children, being at the home of Mrs. Henselmann when she died.
She made her home in Iowa until about three years ago.
Deceased was a member of the M.E. Church. The funeral was held at
the Henselmann home, conducted by Rev. G.G. Yeoman, after which the
body was taken to Washington, Iowa, for burial.
