Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon, May 23, at the Grace Methodist church for Mrs. Ona Henry, 95, who died May 21 at the Osceola Medical Hospital.
Rev. C. Fay Kessinger, pastor of the church, officiated at the services, and burial was made in the Osceola cemetery under the direction of the Goodrich Funeral home.
Pallbearers were Frank Henry Jr., David Henry, Adelbert Kester, Ed Foote, Charles Hutsler and Larry Hutsler.
Mrs. Henry was born in Pleasant Valley, Ill., October 21, 1866. She later moved as a little girl with her family to Union County, Iowa. Her marriage to E. H. S. Henry occurred March 10, 1891 at Corning, Iowa. Seven children were born to the couple. They were Walter, Katie, Ted, Lila, Georgia, Frank and Clifford.
Her husband and two daughters, Georgia and Lila, preceded her in death.
Mrs. Henry was a member of the Grace Methodist Church and Order of the Eastern Star.
Survivors are her children, Walter of Cuba, Mo., Mrs. Katie Durnell of Osceola, Ted of Omaha, Nebr., Frank of Neosha and Clifford of Enid, Okla.; 17 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter, and many other relatives.
