Death of Grandma Bever
Mrs. Elizabeth Bever died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Louis Wafle, near this city, Saturday afternoon, Oct. 15, 1898, at the advanced age of 91 years and 5 months.
Mrs. Bever, with her husband, came to this part of the state in 1867, and has resided here ever since; her husband died about 11 years ago. She leaves two sons, and a daughter to-wit, Mr. Henry Bever, of this city; Wm. Bever, of Bates county and Mrs. Mary Wafle near this city, and many grand and great grand children.
Funeral services conducted by the pastor, Rev. Ludwig, were held in the Lutheran church Sunday afternoon, after which the remains were entered in the city cemetery.
