Wilma Dale Belew, 62, Clinton, died Wednesday, Dec. 20, 2006, at her home. Funeral services were held Friday, Dec. 22, at Consalus Funeral Home with burial in Clinton Memory Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to Twin Lakes Hospice or American Cancer Society and left in care of the funeral home. Condolences may be left online at www.consalusfuneralhome.com.
Wilma was born Jan. 18, 1944, in St. Clair County, daughter of James A. and Juanita Leonard Thames. She married Jimmie R. Belew, in Clinton on Sept. 6, 1974 and he preceded her in death on Oct. 14, 1998.
Her parents, three sisters, Wanda Lackey, Donna Jean Bebee and Shirley Kay Thames, also precede her.
Wilma owned and operated a restaurant.
Survivors include six sons, James D. Rush, Richard W. Rush and his wife Cheryl, Kenneth R. Rush and his wife Lisa A., Jimmie R. Belew, Darrell L. Belew and his wife Dani, Jacky L. Belew and his wife Karla; one daughter, Pam D. Stocking and her husband Harold; three sisters, Ruth Jones and her husband Robert; Ethel Hoover and her husband Clayton and Mary Young and 15 grandchildren.
