Wanda L. Capps, 81, Kansas City North, passed away Nov. 22, 2006, at her home. She was born Sept. 22, 1925 in Collins.
She lived most of her life in the Kansas City North area. She worked as a retail grocery clerk before retiring from Thriftway in 1992; then she worked in food service at East Gate Middle School from 1993 until May 2006.
Her husband, Walter V. Capps, preceded her in death in 1979.
She leaves her son, Dennis Capps, Apollo Beach, Fla.; a daughter, Karen Eastland, Kansas City; a sister, Ruby Reynolds, Raymore; and four grandchildren, all of Kansas City.
Services for Wanda were Monday, Nov. 27, at McGilley Antioch Chapel with burial at Mt. Moriah Terrace Park Cemetery under the direction of McGilley Antioch Chapel.

Wanda L. Capps, 81, Kansas City North, passed away November 22, 2006 at her home. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Monday, November 27th at McGilley Antioch Chapel, burial at Mt. Moriah Terrace Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 24 PM Sunday, November 26th at the chapel. In lieu of flowers, contributions are suggested to Northcare Hospice. Wanda was born September 22, 1925 in Collins, MO. She lived most of her life in the Kansas City North area. She worked as a retail grocery clerk before retiring from Thriftway in 1992; then she worked in food service at East Gate Middle School from 1993 until May of this year. Her husband, Walter V. Capps, preceded her in death in 1979. She leaves her son, Dennis Capps, Apollo Beach, FL, a daughter, Karen Eastland, Kansas City; a sister, Ruby Reynolds, Raymore, MO; and 4 grandchildren all of Kansas City.
