Duff died at her home in Clinton Wednesday, July 6, 2005. She was the daughter of Clarence James Chapman Sr. and Zelma Lee Howell. She married Don Dale Duff on November 10, 1938, in Carroll County. She lived in Osceola until the death of her husband in 1986 after that she moved to California. She moved with her son Ron to Parker, Arizona in 1997. He died September 8, 2004, and she then moved to Clinton to be close to her family.
She is survived by one sister, Lucile Reimer; one brother C. J. "Jr." Chapman, all of Carrollton; a daughter Donna Farmer of Clinton; a grandson Mike Farmer and wife Sherri, and a granddaughter Diana Layton; four great-grandchildren, Victoria Jackson, Clayton Farmer, Kaleb Oswald and Kailene Oswald, and two great-great-grandchildren, Cheyanne and Summer Jackson.
Memorial services were held at the Vansant-Mills Chapel Monday, July 11. Burial was in Osceola Cemetery.
