Rev. T. M. Tucker, 72, a retired Methodist Minister, died at 5:40 a.m.
Tuesday, February 4, at Burge Protestant Hospital in Springfield,
Missouri following a short illness. A resident of Bolivar the past
several years and a native of Osceola, he had been an active minister
over 40 years. A veteran of WWI, he was a member of the Untied
Methodist Church, Bolivar, Missouri, the Bolivar Kiwanis Club and WWI Barracks of Bolivar. His ministries included Pastorates in
Osceola, Corder, Bucker, Kansas, and Oklahoma, Indiana, and Ohio.
He is survived by his wife, Edith of the home, one son, Maurice Monroe
Tucker of Dallas, Texas, one daughter, Mrs. Mary Lynn Joplin of
Roswell, New Mexico; two sisters, Mrs. Linnie Baxter and Miss Leona
Tucker, both of Bolivar and one granddaughter.
Funeral services will be announced by the Pitts Funeral Home.

Rev. Tobie Tucker Rites Feb. 6
Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon, Feb 6, at 2 p.m. at
the Methodist church in Bolivar for Rev. Tobie Tucker, who was born
and reared here. A former pastor in Osceola, Rev. Tucker died Feb 4 at
Burge Hospital in Springfield.
He is a brother of Homer Tucker of Osceola.
Burial will be made in the Osceola cemetery.
