Roberta Doreen Baldock, the daughter of Robert Lesley and Fairy Mae (Fizer) Jennings, was born on September 23, 1923 in Topeka, Kansas. She passed away on February 4, 2002 at Appleton City Manor Nursing Home at the age of 78 years. Roberta lived most of her life in the Kansas City, Montrose and Appleton City areas. She worked for several years while in the Kansas City area for an insurance company. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Appleton City. Mrs. Baldock was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers John and Jack Jennings. She is survived by her son Marvin Paine of Montrose, Missouri. Roberta was a spunky and loving lady who made many friends in her lifetime and was adored by those who worked at the nursing home. She dearly loved her son and all children, often taking them in and caring for them in her own home. She enjoyed crocheting and fishing during her life and had an amazing gift of being able to remember numbers of all kinds and never forgot them. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends.
