Services for Robert Emmett Hamer, 83, retired Pottawatomie county (OK)
farmer, will be at 2 P.M. Monday in Guardian funeral chapel, with
burial in Sunnylane Cemetery. Hamer died Saturday of diabetes in his
home, 403 N. Western, Britton. He had been sick for four years.
Born in Tuscaloosa, Ala, Hamer had lived in this state about 45 years.
After retiring from farming in Pottawatomie County, he moved to
Bethany and four years ago to Britton
He was a member of the Church of Christ, of Britton.
Survivors include his wife Fannie Belle; two daughters Mrs Velma
Price,1917 N. McKinlley, and Mrs Vivian Bowman, Quapaw, a son L. E.
also of Quapaw; a brother Frank E.
Wapanucka, and two sisters, Mrs. Mattie Leonard 3608 NW 11 and Mrs.
Minnie Love, Spencer, Texas. One grandson also survives.
Note: Robert Emmett Hamer married Fannie Belle Perrine, daughter of
Thomas Benton and Sarah Elizabeth (Cockrell) Perrine.
