Richard James Clark was born September 19, 1942, in Warsaw to Theodore James and Gwendolyn Smith Clark. He passed away February 26, 2006 at his home.
Richard lived most of his life in Henry and St. Clair counties. He worked at General Motors in Kansas City before joining the carpenters union.
Richard was preceded in death by his parents and a brother. He is survived by two brothers, Douglas Clark and his wife Patty, Osceola, Robert Clark and his wife Mary, Latour; a sister, Shirley Schlichting and her husband Philip, Sweet Springs; an uncle, Joe Eger, Great Falls, Mont.; and several nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends.
Services for Richard were March 1, 10 a.m. in the Sheldon-Goodrich Chapel with Reverend Durward Scott officiating. Musical selections were “In the Garden” and “The Old Rugged Cross” by Richard Sunderwirth and Gail Ingle. Casket bearers were Brian Schlichting, Noel Clark, Jacob Clark and Faron Clark.
Interment was in the Smith Bend Cemetery under the arrangements of Sheldon-Goodrich Funeral Home, Osceola.
