Rites for Nora Lusk
Nora Whitley Lusk, daughter of William and Sarah Whitley, was born in
St. Clair County, north of Tiffin, April 30, 1871, and passed away at
the Cedar county memorial hospital April 1, 1966.
She joined the Pape Christian church in 1893, where she remained a
faithful member.
On July 26, 1896, she was united in marriage to Joseph Lusk. One son
who was born to them, died in infancy.
Some years ago she and her husband moved from their farm home to El
Dorado Springs. Mr. Lusk died in 1955.
Surviving Mrs. Lusk are a sister-in-law, Flora Whitley; three nieces,
Doris Mogan, Maude Brackenridge, Edith Kirkpatrick, also other
relatives, many friends and neighbors.
Funeral services were held at the First Christian church Sunday, April
3, at 2 p.m., the Rev. Maurice Pond officiating. Interment in El
Dorado Springs cemetery, under direction of Gwinn-Carothers.
