Mary was always one to think of helping others before herself. She was
a very giving person. Mary loved pretty flowers. Sometimes one of her
grandchildren would pick her a bouquet of weeds and she was always so
proud of them. She loved wildflowers best of all.
Her wild birds and animals at the farm were really special to her. She
enjoyed the deer that came and grazed in the yard and the covey of
quail that she fed every year. In the spring, they brought their young
through the yard for her to see. She talked to them all and it was
like they understood.
Mary was very proud of her children and grandchildren. She also
worried about all of them too much.
Funeral services for Mary Alene King were held Tuesday, September 18,
at 2 p.m., at the Sheldon-Goodrich Chapel in Osceola, with Rev. James
Fulton officiating. Music was provided by Mr. and Mrs. J.A. Hartley.

Tucker, Bill Tucker and James Carr. Interment was in Macedonia
Cemetery under the direction of Sheldon-Goodrich Funeral Home of
